Step 1: Call 1. 800.235.5570 x290
When you make your first call to Reasons Eating Disorder Center, you will speak with a member of our Admissions Team who will answer questions you may have about the program, start insurance paperwork with you for a complimentary benefit verification, and schedule your Clinical Consultation.
Step 2: Clinical Consultation
This is an assessment conducted prior to your admission by one of our trained therapists. It takes about 1 hour and can be done over the phone. We will ask you questions about the history and current symptoms of the eating disorder, medical issues, psychological factors, and social and occupational functioning. We will use this information to recommend which level of care might be most appropriate for you.
Step 3: Coordination of Admission
Once your Clinical Consultation is completed, our Admissions Team will review your benefits specific to the level of care recommended for you and connect you with our Business Office to make any necessary financial arrangements. We will then discuss an admission date with you and review practical items such as what items you should pack.
