BHC Alhambra Hospital and Reason Eating Disorder Center Programs have been recognized by The Joint Commission which is the highest level of accreditation that can be obtained by a behavioral health care provider. We were recognized in the Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® program which recognizes accredited hospitals that attain excellence on accountability measures. We have earned the Gold Seal of Approval for our quality care as well as the Gold Key for being a Top Performer. We place high value on meeting these standards and are proud to be recognized for providing both safe and high-quality care to the patients we serve in our inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization programs.

Reasons is an organizational member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. This organization, established in 1985, has been well-recognized for excellence in education and high-level training for providers treating the full range of eating disorder issues. Our staff are active members of this reputable organization.

National Eating Disorder Association

Reasons is a sustaining sponsor for the National Eating Disorder Organization. NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care. Reasons proudly supports NEDA’s Eating Disorder Awareness Walks across the country.

Residential Eating Disorders Consortium

Reasons is an active member of REDC (Residential Eating Disorders Consortium) which was formed in December, 2011 by residential eating disorder treatment programs to serve as a trade association of residential eating disorder treatment providers. Membership in REDC is reserved for residential eating disorder treatment programs offering residential eating disorders treatment that meets REDC established standards. The mission of REDC is to collaboratively address issues impacting residential treatment programs in an effort to increase access to residential eating disorder treatment for individuals struggling with eating disorders.

Eating Disorders Coalition

Reasons believes in advocacy and is an active member of the EDC. Their mission is to advance the recognition of eating disorders as a public health priority at the federal and state level. The Reasons team often goes to Washington DC to lobby and advocate for our patients.

Mental Fitness Inc.

Reasons is a proud sponsor of Mental Fitness, a prevention and educational program that has as its mission to shape resilience in youth by facilitating educational and interactive programs in order to prevent mental illness and emotional distress. They collaborate with national experts and Reasons leadership serves as expert speakers for their events in the community and in schools around topics of eating disorders, body image, and self-esteem.

Recovery Warrior’s mission is deeply rooted in connecting treatment, technology and innovative design to eating disorder recovery.
