Welcome Reasons Alumni! We are honored that you chose to receive treatment at Reasons and want to stay connected with you.

Reasons Alumni Take-Aways

Reasons Alumni discuss their most important take-aways from treatment. Hear in their own words what their experiences of treatment have been and some of the key things that have aided them on their journey.

Every recovery journey is different and is never linear, however with support, courage and a lot of hard work, a full recovery is possible.

We would like to Thank all the Alumni that participated in the making of this video. We are so grateful for your participating and willingness to share your vulnerability.

If you are an alumni and interested in getting more involved in Alumni Programming, please feel free to contact us.

Eating Disorders and People of Color and Indigenous Peoples Survey

Reasons is helping Marcella Raimondo, PhD, MPH and Gloria Lucas of Nalgona Positivity Pride gather information about people of color and indigenous people with eating disorders particularly focusing on treatment experiences. For more information please check out their websites.

Survey details:

  • We ask all participants be 18 and older.
  • This survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete.
  • These results will be published
  • Participants who have not received eating disorders treatment are welcome to skip questions that don’t apply.

The information that we collect will help us better understand people of color and indigenous peoples who struggle with various forms of eating disorders, disordered eating, and eating problems. Results will be published to advocate for more resources for people of color and indigenous people who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating and eating problems.

–Please be aware that questions in this survey may activate certain feelings and bring up negative past experiences. We encourage you to please have support or a form of self-care afterwards. Do know that you can opt out at any point.–
