Reasons Eating Disorder Center is a certified TRICARE® provider and treats active duty service members, retirees, and their family members.
The Reasons team has tremendous respect for the service that the women and men of the armed forces provide to our country. We are committed to honoring their dedication and sacrifice by providing them with respectful, individualized, treatment and care.
Our case managers, program directors, and therapists coordinate care with commanders and other involved treatment professionals for the duration of the patient’s stay at Reasons. We understand the special needs of active-duty military and their families and have extensive experience working with them, coordinating with their unit Commanders, and working with the requirements of military fitness for duty standards. We have particular expertise in the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring trauma and are able to assist our military women and men with stabilization of trauma symptoms, along with our comprehensive eating disorder treatment program.
Additionally, our team has had the privilege of working with the families of active duty service members in helping them with the unique challenges they face, such as the impact of a deployed loved one or of multiple life transitions and relocations.
Reasons accepts TRICARE® in our Acute Inpatient Program for both females and males and in our Residential Program for female, active duty service members with command referral. We accept TRICARE® for dependents in our Acute Inpatient Program and provide assistance in obtaining the referral and authorization for treatment.
Please call our Admissions Team so we can discuss how we might be of help to you or your loved one and work with you to develop a treatment plan that understands the unique needs of military service members and their families.
